The barn at Holsome Park is situated in the heart of the South Hams, an area of outstanding natural beauty close to Totnes and Kingsbridge. We have panoramic views of Dartmoor and the beautiful Devon countryside. The barn is both contemporary and rustic, and a perfect venue for all types of celebrations – from weddings and birthday celebrations to corporate functions/ team building!

Why not make the most of your nuptials and have exclusive use of “The Lambing Barn” set in set in a small woodland adjoining a 4 acre field, with use of Foxglove Quarry. for you and your guests for an extended, multi-day wedding?

We have lots of indoor and outdoor space and the views really do have to be seen to be appreciated.

The “lambing barn” is a blank canvas and our exclusive 3 day hire allows you and friends and family ample time the day before to decorate it in your own personal style whether that is understated or exuberant. Our three-day hire with also means that if you wish to have a get-together on the day before, and/or the day after your wedding, you are completely free to do so. Maybe a family and friends bbq the night before your big day, or a Sunday brunch get-together or bbq before everyone heads home on the Sunday. The added option of camping allows you and your guests to camp with us for 2 nights if you wish to do so.

For those who wish to camp – we can also offer a guided farm walk, as well as collect your own eggs for breakfast from our chickens. You can also purchase meat reared on the farm for that post wedding fry up!

We will provide you with a list of hand-picked local suppliers who go out of their way to source their produce from local and sustainable sources. They include caterers, hog roasts, live bands, discos, florists, crockery hire, and ice cream.

We don’t believe in hidden extras and our pricing is completely transparent, making it really easy for you to stay within your budget. We are committed to every couple and work closely with you to provide the support you need to create the wedding your dreams.

Viewings are welcome throughout the year. Whilst Holsome Farm’s natural blooms and beauty die back over the winter months you are very welcome to come and view the spaces we have available and then return in the spring and see our farm come back to life.

 Foxglove Quarry

Welcome to our beautiful space – Foxglove Quarry.

Set in sheer rock faces and adorned with foxgloves and ferns this gorgeous cove is ideal for ceremonies, drinks, canapés and the most gorgeous photo opportunities. With views of Dartmoor, Diptford Church and the rolling Devon landscape this area of our farm adds a serene and tranquil space to be enjoyed in whatever way you dream of.

Foxglove Quarry can be seen on the old OS Maps dating back to 1888 and the stone from this quarry was used to build houses in our local village.  

Oaks, Amelanchier Lamarckii, Ferns, Foxgloves, Brunnera Macrophylla, Anemone, Geranium Rozanne and Periwinkle all thrive in this open area making it the heart of natural beauty within our farm.

What’s included in the hire cost:

All the items below are exclusively yours and included in your hire fee.

  • 3 day hire of the venue for you and your guests
  • If you are having a blessing ceremony, it can be held in either of the following settings the “Lambing Barn”, in the small woodland or in the adjoining a 4-acre field
  • Re-visit the venue and show around your family, friends and chosen suppliers
  • 4 Acre field for post ceremony drinks and games
  • No corkage is charged if you wish to bring your own table wine and welcome drinks. A licenced evening bar is available on request
  • Lighting in the Lambing Barn, designed to create a magical evening setting
  • Wedding coordination-we will also meet your suppliers, liaise between yourself and caterers on the day, meet and greet photographer/band and show them where to set up
  • Ground floor restrooms (including disabled toilet and baby changing facility). • Full disabled access
  • Outdoor firepits (logs included) with seating
  • Outdoor electrical hook-ups for pop-up evening food trucks
  • There is plenty of parking up to 100 cars
  • Straw bales which make ideal rustic seating!
  • Washing up area with fridge and freezers x2
  • Walk-in chiller and prep area for caterers
  • All electricity included, with plenty of sockets around the barn
  • We will also be on hand to help keep the toilets and facilities clean and tidy during the festivities
  • The package has the option of including 2 nights camping (if over a weekend Friday and Saturday nights)
  • The package has the option of staying 2 nights in " Holsome Hideaway" our Shepherds Hut with log fired hot tub
  • The campsite can take a maximum of 100 people for camping each night
  • Field-access to the site from the Friday from 2pm until the Sunday 11am (if use is over the weekend)
  • Optional farm walk with BBQ and marshmallows by the fire pit at £15/person (up to 50 people).

Holsome Park, what a truly incredible wedding venue! Louise and Graham, we cannot thank you enough! We could not have asked for a more perfect location for our wedding. The views, barn, camping field and wooded area allowed us to create the festival wedding that we wanted. You will not meet a nicer couple than Louise and Graham. They made the whole experience stress free and were very accommodating throughout the whole process. They were also incredibly helpful on the days before the wedding, when we decorated the venue and on the actual wedding day. Graham even gave our wedding party a farm tour the following day, which we all loved and marshmallows for the fire pit. One of the reasons we chose the venue was all of our guests could camp. This allowed the wedding celebrations to take place over the whole weekend rather than one day, making it truly special. Thank you again for allowing us to have the perfect wedding and the most incredible memories that we will cherish forever. Our daughter and her fabulous husband have just got married at Holsome Park the venue is absolutely amazing the views are stunning and the barn and outside space were perfect. We can’t thank Louise and Graham enough they are a lovely couple who were there if you needed them but just let us go ahead and decorate the venue making no restrictions. It turned out to be the day both Chloe and Rob had dreamed of it is such a very special venue and we will treasure the memories that were made there. Working with Louise to plan our wedding on Louise and Gray's farm was a very stress free experience. Louise was very easy going and was happy to accommodate changes / new ideas wherever she felt they could! They offered us so much by way of support and even had suggestions that really did make a difference to the day. Louise's son even took the littlies to feed the lambs during the 'downtime' on the day to keep them entertained, which we didn't realise had happened until we saw the photos! What a lovely little added extra. Louise, Gray and family ended up joining us for food and drink on the day as they had been such a big part of the process, which was really special. We started with a field and ended up with a full blown festival wedding venue in less than a year - it really was quite a miracle and ended up being really spectacular.

Louise and Graham were incredible hosts for our wedding. Nothing was an issue, they accommodated our every need to make our day so special. We were allowed to decorate the venue to our style, and they helped us to achieve our vision by adding little touches. We loved the relaxed family run feeling of Holsome Park which, again just made our wedding atmosphere so welcoming for our guests.

Just a quick message to say a huge thank you. From the moment we drove into Holsome Park back in 2023 we knew where we wanted our wedding. In fact there was never a second option, we visited another venue but nothing compared to Holsome Park. You were both great on the lead up and the whole weekend, always on hand if needed. Although the thought of rain filled me with dread it really didn't dampen our day at all. The barn was plenty big enough to fit us all in and we had the most amazing day. Lots of love

There are too many good things to say about this venue, Louise and Graham are absolutely amazing and always on hand to help with any requests (some of our elderly guests really appreciated the lift up the hill on the tractor!)
They also moved our ceremony centrepiece during the day, and were really lenient with what time we could arrive to set up and pack up. The venue itself is out of this world, the views are breathtaking and the space is honestly amazing - no venue compares! The barn is spacious and has a really handy pully system to decorate the ceiling, the woodland is beautiful and we loved sitting around the fire pit, which Graham kindly set up late into the evening.
The Foxglove Quarry was absolutely stunning with loads foxgloves and flowers dotted around the beautiful spot. The Shepherds Hut is fantastic and we definitely would love to come back for a stay! And our guests commented on how clean the showers were with great pressure. I could carry on, but go and see it for yourself you won't regret it! We can't thank you enough Louise and Graham!

Louise and Graham were very accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process and made ease of what is normally a stressful time!

Absolutely brilliant venue, and great value for money. Lots of flexibility with how you use the space. We used the beautiful quarry in the bottom field with a stunning view over Dartmoor, our guests were really impressed. The barn is a brilliant space and the tables and chairs which are included are great as well as the bar and fairy lights. It looked really magical in the evening and it was simple decorating the space to how we wanted it.
Our guests had lots of space to spread out. The bathrooms were lovely and clean, lots of refrigeration. Camping guests had a good time and we really enjoyed staying in the Shepherds Hut.

We had our festival style wedding at Holsome Park in June and it was incredible.
The venue is beautiful and offers so much. We were able to have our ceremony in the gorgeous Foxglove Quarry which provided the perfect backdrop. We then partied the rest of the day and night away in the barn and surrounding wooded area.
The views across Dartmoor are unrivalled, especially during golden hour and I cannot wait to see all our photos from the day. The bridal Shepherds Hut is also amazing. The venue is perfect if you want to DIY and really put your stamp on things. We were able to go in the day before and decorate ready for the big day. We hired bell tents and went for the camping option. It was so great to have family and friends staying on site for the weekend. Louise and Graham - who own the venue - were great and so helpful leading up and on the day of the wedding. Louise was great with communication leading up to the wedding and we were able to visit the venue on multiple occasions during the planning stage. We would recommend this venue over and over. Thank you for being the location for our special day.

From the moment we visited Holsome Park we knew that it was the venue for us. The views are absolutely stunning and Louise and Graham are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Throughout the whole process they were more than happy to answer any queries. Also allowed us to visit when we needed to bringing family as well. They liaised with vendors on the day and also ran a bar in the evening everything was just perfect. We were able to decorate the barn how we wanted and every guest had the most amazing time. For anyone looking for a rustic Devon wedding I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Louise and Graham for helping make it the best day ever!

Holsome Park was the most perfect venue for us as a couple. From day one of going to look around and meeting Louise we felt relaxed and at home with the venue. Nothing was too much trouble and Louise was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The venue itself was spotless and well maintained and it was obvious that Louise and her family cared about what they do and want it to be the perfect setting.
Louise was on hand for anything we needed on the day before and the day of the wedding and everything went smoothly. The venue is set in a beautiful location and we loved that the Shepherds Hut was our little hideaway! I cannot recommend Holsome Park highly enough and thank Louise and her team from the bottom of our hearts.
